You can now buy airline food online

Imperfect Foods, an online food surplus delivery company, is working with JetBlue airlines by offering up snack trays of cheese, crackers, and dried fruit. Chief executive Philip Behn says they have been working with co-packers to repackage products normally destined for restaurants, hotels, or travel businesses. Previously, in an op-ed by local food justice organizers, Imperfect has been criticized for its faux-activism. In addition to redistribution, JetBlue, Southwest, and Delta have donated leftover snacks to food banks and hospitals across the country. The Washington Post has the story
