How We’re Funded
The Counter is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization. Donations are 100% tax-deductible.
Philanthropist S. Donald Sussman provided the funding to launch The New Food Economy in 2015, and is a continuing major benefactor of The Counter. The New Food Economy was renamed The Counter in 2020.
