Feed the Polls will distribute meals to food-insecure voters on Election Day
Feed the Polls is a new initiative that will distribute nearly 50,000 meals to voters in food-insecure communities at polling places on Election Day. The effort—which does not align with a political party—is a partnership between Zagat, The Infatuation, and the nonprofit organization The Migrant Kitchen, CNN reports. Chris Stang, co-founder and CEO of Zagat, said they are not trying to tell people how to vote, but rather does not want hunger to stand in the way.
