A tortilla company that focuses on heirloom corn from Mexico had to absorb the cost—and uncertainty—of shutdowns and stoppages on both sides of the border. Even when the food does make it to the U.S., shipping domestically has proven expensive and unreliable. The headline says it all: All your favorite foods are stuck in transit.
