A ketchup packet shortage has led to a rise in eBay sales
There’s a ketchup shortage afoot, The Wall Street Journal reports. Ever stash extra condiments in your glove compartment thinking they might come in handy someday? Sauce hoarders, this is your moment: Sellers are cashing in on eBay, trying their luck at selling packets for $0.25 to $5 a pop. And people are buying! Or nibbling, at least. Elsewhere, others are responding to the shortage with noble generosity: A radio station in Poughkeepsie, New York, is giving out ketchup packets to morning show callers.
