Cheese love lands an Englishman in jail

One Englishman is probably cursing the day he gushed about fromage-philia to his friends in crime. Police had infiltrated an encrypted messaging system often used by people doing things they shouldn’t. The Liverpudlian drug dealer sent out a picture of his hand holding a “delicately rich and creamy” Stilton from British retailer Marks & Spencers. It was a good enough shot that law enforcement got a look at his fingerprints and his palm impression—and IDed him. According to CNN, he was sentenced to jail for 13 years, an unlucky number of years in a place where far less premium cheese will be on the menu.
