It’s a big week for Brazilian beef. After more than two years, the United States has lifted its ban on raw meat imports from the country. The ban was imposed after Brazilian meat was found to contain blood clots and lymph nodes, Bloomberg reports. But when one door opens, another door … closes? Brazil’s biggest meat company, JBS, is facing criticism over accusations it sources cattle from farms involved in illegal deforestation.
