Supply chain snarls have not even spared the Girl ScoutsThe Washington Post reports. After launching a new cookie called Adventurefuls with much fanfare (caramel creme, sea salt!), the organization has begun telling chapters to halt new orders. The Louisville-based company that produces the new cookies blamed Covid-related labor shortages for the bakery backup. Don’t panic, though: Thin Mints, Samoas, Tagalongs, and all other flavors remain unaffected. —Claire Brown
