Want to try the new Girl Scout cookie? You may be out of luck this year.
Supply chain snarls have not even spared the Girl Scouts, The Washington Post reports. After launching a new cookie called Adventurefuls with much fanfare (caramel creme, sea salt!), the organization has begun telling chapters to halt new orders. The Louisville-based company that produces the new cookies blamed Covid-related labor shortages for the bakery backup. Don’t panic, though: Thin Mints, Samoas, Tagalongs, and all other flavors remain unaffected. —Claire Brown
