A camping and canoeing guide in Maine took his pet chicken along for all his summer adventures
Sometimes we all need something nice. “Master Maine guide” (an official title) Dan Pelletier has been leading people on camping and canoeing expeditions for decades, but this summer he tried something a little kooky. Pelletier brought his prize chicken, Georgia, along for all his voyages. Not only would she liven up everyone’s adventures, she’d also lay eggs for brownies, French toast, and typical breakfast fare. “You can’t do it with just any chicken,” he said. “This one …. just hangs out.” Bangor Daily News has more.
