Tire company Michelin debuts a sustainability clover

Michelin, the tire company perhaps best known for the stars it bestows on high-end restaurants, has announced it will now anoint sustainability-focused restaurants with a green clover. “Green” features might include permaculture gardens, collaborations with green-minded producers, or particularly strong composting programs. The symbol has already debuted in France, though it’s unclear whether it will make the jump over the pond.
