Elaine S. Povich

Elaine S. Povich covers tax and budget issues for Stateline. Povich has reported for Newsday, the Chicago Tribune and United Press International. She also covered taxes and government finances as a freelancer for The Fiscal Times, Governing, AOL Government, Kiplinger and AARP Bulletin magazine. She has written three books and is an adjunct professor of journalism at the University of Maryland.
