Dan Barber

Dan Barber is the executive chef and co-owner of Blue Hill, in New York City, and Blue Hill at Stone Barns, and the author of The Third Plate. He has received multiple James Beard awards, including Best Chef: New York City (2006) and the country's Outstanding Chef (2009), and was appointed by President Barack Obama to serve on the President’s Council on Physical Fitness, Sports and Nutrition.

ResourcED, a project Dan Barber and his colleagues created, have sold market boxes that include produce, as well as a grass-fed beef, fisheries, pastry, and bread box, at both of his restaurants. But their future trajectory could soon change.
