Ashli Quesinberry Stokes
Ashli Quesinberry Stokes is a Professor of Communication Studies at UNC Charlotte. In addition to her books Consuming Identity: The Role of Food in Redefining the Southand City Places, Country Spaces: Rhetorical Explorations of the Urban/Rural Divide (both with Wendy Atkins-Sayre), her work on Southern identity and food has appeared ina variety of academic journals, in Zocalo Public Square, The Academic Minute, and the Charleston Post and Courier, and on NPR and television.
