What’s going on with coffee machine maker Bonavita?

Not too long ago, according to both professional and amateur coffee connoisseurs, it was nearly impossible to brew a good pot of drip coffee at home without breaking the bank. To hear some of them tell it, that changed when hardware company Bonavita brought a $150 automatic brewer to market. Once a darling of coffee obsessives, the company has faced stock shortages and stopped responding to customer questions. Is it going out of business?
