Texas Roadhouse CEO donates his million-dollar salary to employees

In order to keep his chain running through the Covid-19 pandemic, the CEO of Texas Roadhouse has offered up his million-dollar salary and bonus package to the workers at its 400-plus steakhouses. Another business making concessions for employees is the Make It Nice group, parent company of exclusive NYC restaurants Eleven Madison Park and Llama San. The group is auctioning off private dinner parties and wine tastings that are fetching as much as $50,000, plus $3,000 ceviche-making classes, a $350 Peruvian blanket, and a $5,000 opportunity to run around Central Park with EMP chef Daniel Humm. All proceeds go directly to the group’s workers.
