Social-distancing picnic blanket is this summer’s must-have item

With summer approaching, one entrepreneur came up with the perfect park and beach accessory for social distancing: a picnic blanket that measures the space between people. Essentially a big circle with a huge hole in the center, the “Here Comes the Sun” blanket includes four circular swatches around its perimeter to sit on—measured six feet apart—to ensure a safe distance. The designer is also offering a free template to create a DIY version if your sewing skills are up to par, according to Fast Company.
