Love it or hate it, the incessant sound of Mariah Carey’s 27-year-old classic “All I Want For Christmas Is You” tells us the holidays are barreling toward us. Further cementing her title as the Queen of Christmas, the singer has partnered with McDonald’s for the “Mariah Menu” debuting December 13 and featuring a select free item each day through Christmas Eve with a $1 minimum purchase on the McDonald’s app, USA Today reports. It seems 2021 is the year of the celebrity fast food collaboration. Carey is just the latest artist McDonald’s has tapped for limited-time meals. Over the summer, the chain rolled out the Saweetie Meal and “Famous Orders” with BTS, J Balvin, and Travis Scott. And let’s not forget that Taco Bell appointed Lil Nas X as its “chief impact officer,” allowing him to collaborate on the chain’s brand development. But back to Mariah Carey: In a statement about her holiday menu, Carey said that some of her favorite memories with her kids are family trips to McDonald’s and that her favorite order is the cheeseburger with extra pickles. I wasn’t entirely convinced that Carey had ever stepped foot inside of a McDonald’s, but then I found this picture. Never question the queen. —Tina Vasquez
