Grubhub sued for shady advertising practices

Grubhub has been telling customers that restaurants it doesn’t partner with are closed during Covid-19, Law360 reports. Freshcraft, a Denver bar and restaurant, claims Grubhub was using the false advertising tactic well before the pandemic. However, its impact now is especially damaging to restaurants that are trying to stay afloat. On Monday, Freshcraft filed a class action lawsuit on behalf of all U.S. restaurants. The lawsuit seeks to stop Grubhub from continuing its false advertising and pay damages to restaurants affected.
